Small Populations.
Big Science.
Real Stories.

Clinical research has a way of being both deeply rewarding and endlessly frustrating. And somehow, the people who care most about it never stop believing it can be better. If that sounds like you, you’re exactly who I created this space for.

About Me

I’ve always been equal parts curious and adventurous, which has a way of leading me to unexpected places. Along the way, I’ve discovered that the most rewarding journeys are shaped by meaningful conversations, surprising insights, and the people you meet along the road.

That same curiosity has guided my career in clinical research. I’ve helped develop technologies designed to accelerate drug discovery and bring promising treatments to patients faster. I’ve also worked directly in rare disease clinical trials, supporting patient recruitment and connecting with individuals and families searching for answers. Through these experiences, one theme has become clear: there is often a gap between the people conducting research and the patients whose lives are most affected by it.

This space is my way of exploring that gap. Here, I share insights, stories, and resources that reflect what I’m learning about clinical research and my thoughts on ways to minimize that gap.

Everything you’ll find here is shaped by my personal experiences, academic background, and the questions that continue to capture my attention. From clinical operations and innovation to the occasional detour into parenting and life’s unexpected lessons, my hope is that you’ll discover something that informs, inspires, or simply sparks a new way of thinking.

Say Less. Let's Build

If something I’ve written resonates with you or you think my background could be useful to something you’re working on — don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always open to a good conversation.

Topics

If you’re looking for a rough map of what you’ll find here, these are the areas I keep finding myself drawn back to.

Therapeutic Modalities

This is where I geek out a bit and I put the degree to work. Don’t worry, I’ll keep it interesting.

Clinical Trial Landscapes

I’m a big picture person – this is my field report for a specific disease,  opinions included at no extra charge.

Notable Voices

These are truly remarkable people I have had the pleasure to meet.

Other Stuff I Can Do...

I’ve worked across some fascinating projects over the years — each one adding something useful to the toolkit and a few good stories to the repertoire.

Project Manager

Keeping complex projects on track, deadlines honest, and stakeholders from losing their minds.

Clinical Researcher

Spent years across the lab bench to patient bedside, with a lot of head scratching in between.

Scientific Writing

Turning dense research into something a human actually wants to read.

Patient Recruitment Strategy

Getting the right patients into the right trials at the right time. Harder than it sounds, more important than most people realize.

Teaching & Course Building

Spent plenty of time on both sides of the classroom and learned just as much teaching as I did being taught.

Public Speaking

Comfortable in front of a room full of skeptics and the occasional person who clearly wandered in by accident.

Business Development

Finding partnerships, opening doors, and making sure the conversations doesn’t end at the first handshake.

Marketing

Most scientists leave marketing to someone else. Most marketers leave the science to someone else. I’ve enjoyed doing both.

Stay In Touch

Join the list. I promise to only show up when I actually have something worth sharing.
